Tell me a secret. Comments are naturally screened.

1. As an assassin, you will be given a target via e-mail when the game commences. It is your duty to track down and ‘kill’ your target. An assassin never reveals her target while the target is alive, and neither can you. Keep the kills a one person job… yours.
2. To successfully eliminate your opponent, the attack must be a surprise. Running up to your target with a bucket of water while yelling a war cry doesn’t count, unless your target is extremely dense. If your target didn’t see the attack coming, then it was successful. Remember, a non-successful kill reveals your identity as Assassin and removes a good deal of your leverage. When there is a ~good argument by the target for a failed kill, the target always wins. But don’t take advantage of this; be honorable in your death. After a failed attempt to kill, the target is exempt from that Assassin for 5 hours.
3. If a target successfully hits its Assassin, then that Assassin cannot kill the target during the next 5 hours. Another good reason to keep your target secret. When there is a ~good argument by the Assassin for a failed attempt to render the Assassin harmless for 5 hours, the Assassin always wins.
4. All attacks must be shot or otherwise deployed as water or nerf weaponry (or a plastic fork. if its creative enough it passes, but no "phasers" or "laser eye rays." Squirt bottles are perfectly acceptable as long as you’re squirting them and not throwing the bottle. Mailing a “water-bomb” or other such roundabout attack does not count. The target must get slightly wet. Use your head and don’t hurt anyone (or drench them if they’re wearing nice clothing). One other exception - contact posion is also acceptable. Glue with a note under door handles, tobasco in their food, etc. Use reasonable judgement though.
5. When your target has been killed, the dead target will reveal your next target. Also, I need an e-mail sent to me that day with the time, location, and how the assassination was carried out. This way there will be an online update of who got killed off and how they were killed.
6. On some days, there will be a safe item. This item can be found by looking at my (Wyndhams) livejournal. This item must be carried on your body in open sight for it to count. There will not be a safe item on all days. It only lasts from midnight to 11:59pm on the day specified.
7. There are safe locations. These include any and all restrooms, your bedroom for you only (i.e. you’re safe in your bedroom). Your classes and discussion sections from the time specified that it starts to five minutes after that class. If you’re not enrolled in that class then you’re not safe there. Lab rooms in which you work are also safe, no lab accidents please. .


I (Wyndham) reserve the right to make command decisions regarding changing, interpreting, and throwing out the rules. Don’t try to overly take advantage of the rules or I will eliminate you from the game and there is nothing you can do about it. Play nice, but play to kill.
